As a school, we subscribe to JSTOR - a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. It includes academic research covering more than 70 disciplines.

Getting Started With JSTOR

In school, you can search for JSTOR https://www.jstor.org/ and you should automatically see the message at the top of the screen saying “Access Provided by Meadowhead School Academy Trust “ 

At home, you must first login to the student portal via the school website, go to the LRC page and then click on the JSTOR link

• Get the best results by using Advance Search
• You can read your search result article online or download the PDF, and save to Workspace to keep track of your research.

 

Citations for any item can be emailed, exported or copied. Each book chapter and article includes a ‘Cite This Item’ link.

We highly recommend that you login (top right of the JSTOR screen), using Microsoft

This is your own account where you have your Workspace – create Folders for each project, save articles and citations.

Tools – use these for an interesting and useful way to do your research:

Text Analyzer:  upload a document you already have and JSTOR will analyze the key topics in it to find similar content in JSTOR (more information here: https://www.jstor.org/analyze/about )
