Sports Round-up 14th March 2025
The Year 7 team showed tremendous dedication and skill in the final night of the Sheffield Schools 5-a-Side competition at Goals Sheffield. Despite being faced with tough opposition, the students displayed outstanding teamwork and determination throughout the matches.
It was clear that each player gave their best, supporting each other on and off the pitch. Their resilience, positive attitude, and passion for the game were truly impressive and a credit to the school.
A fantastic effort from all involved – well done!
The U13 Netball team was back in action at the SFSS U13 tournament. Competing against some tough opposition, the team played with passion, skill, and determination throughout every match.
Despite facing fierce competition, the girls finished in an impressive 4th place, showcasing their talent and skill. Each player stepped up, contributing to a strong team performance.
The girls should be incredibly proud of their effort, and their 4th-place finish is a reflection of all their hard work and commitment.
The first half was a tight contest, with neither team showing dominance. We managed to edge ahead, with us leading at the break 3-2.
In the second half, however, we were much sharper, controlling possession, being clinical in our finishing, and playing with confidence.
Our improved performance saw us comfortably extend our lead, ultimately securing a 12-3 victory! This win puts us top of the table with 3 games to go!
