A fantastic evening for our Y10 futsal team who won 3 out of 4 games and came away as champions 🏆

Our thoughts are with Baran’s metatarsals as he bravely hobbled his way through the evening!

Phoenix Futsal: A Year 9 Dream

Beneath the glow of court-side lights,
The Phoenix rise on Monday nights.

A fearsome Year 9 futsal team.

Alex dives like a bird in flight,
Guarding the goal with all his might.
From every corner, shot, and strike,
His saves are nothing short of psych!

Lukas charges, a wall of steel,
With crunching tackles that you feel.
Opponents tremble, lose their fight,
When Lukas moves to set things right.

Nathan’s vision, sharp and clear,
Threads passes through with skill sincere.
A maestro’s touch, a playmaker’s grace,
He sets the rhythm, builds the pace.

Lekai’s feet are quick as flame,
Dazzling moves that win the game.
A twist, a turn, a flick, a roll,
Defenders left without control.

And when it’s time to find the net,
Darian and Tutu are your best bet.
With booming shots and deadly aim,
They light the court and claim the game.

Together they rise, this Phoenix crew,
With grit, with heart, with something new.
A fiery bond, a fearless fight,
Phoenix soars into the night.

Sports Leaders at EIS

The Sports Leaders had an amazing day today at the Primary School Athletic Finals held at the EIS! They supported the different schools and even had the opportunity to meet the legendary Jessica Ennis-Hill! What a fantastic experience!

 

Y8 Five-a-side

Two fantastic evenings of football for the Year 8’s at the Sheffield Federation 5-a-side competition at Goals. The students showed fantastic determination and great football skill.
