Our Y7 & Y8 Girls Football team took part in the Women's World Cup football festival with SWFC Community Foundation this half-term.

The day included 6-a-side matches against a variety of schools from the South Yorkshire area.

The students were split into 2 teams; Meadowhead A and B, and both teams made it through to the Quarter Finals! Meadowhead B then played another game which allowed them to reach the semi-final, where they placed 3rd overall.

A big well done to all of the students involved who kept their spirits high despite the rain and played some great football!
