Make a Difference Awards 2024
On Wednesday 17th July, the school held the inaugural Make a Difference Awards that celebrated achievements in student leadership, sport and the creative arts.
A packed assembly hall of students, teachers and parents heard of the many ways that students had lived up to the school's "make a difference" motto. It was an inspiring and moving night and we are already looking forward to the second event next year.
We are thankful to Reed Talent Solutions for their kind and generous sponsorship of the event.

Phoenix Teams of the Year - Make a Difference Awards
A huge congratulations to the Phoenix teams (pictured below) who won Team of the Year at the Make a Difference Awards.
The winners of Team of the Year (female) were the under 16 girls footballers after their season culminated in winning the Sheffield Cup with a dominant performance over Westfield in the final.
The Y10 boys footballers won the male Team of the Year after winning both the Sheffield League and Cup along with a run to the quarter finals of the national cup.
Congratulations to the other shortlisted Phoenix teams: Y7 girls netballers, U16 girls netballers, boys table tennis, Y7 boys footballers and Y11 boys footballers.
Well done to every student who represented a Phoenix team this year and huge thanks to Meadowhead staff who supported each team and fixture.
