On Thursday evening, 4th July, students from Meadowhead, Abbey Lane and Bradway gathered in the hall to celebrate the annual Everyone A Writer event.

This year’s theme was Proud, and the anthology of students’ published poetry, creative writing and artwork was shared, with performances from students and a prize giving ceremony.

During the daytime, Meadowhead students had poetry workshops with Andy Craven Griffiths, who also performed at the event.

We had over 400 entries submitted, with 180 pieces making it into the anthology.  Please open the anthology at the foot of this page and enjoy these remarkable pieces of writing.
