We were delighted to welcome Mike for a full day of poetry workshops with students in y7-y9. Mike is a spoken word, rap and recording artist who is passionate about helping young people -  he shared his story with the class and performed his first piece of very personal poetry, before asking students to search for a song lyric that they connected with. Each workshop ended with a form poem read by Mike and volunteers - a truly inspiring and motivating day for our students.   (January 2022)
