We started the day (2nd March) with DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) and it was great to see so many different books being read, though popular author David Walliams featured in many classrooms!

In Y7/8 English lessons during the week they used JK Rowling's book 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' as inspiration for some creative writing.

The special £1 Book Tokens were handed out which students could use in this month's Scholastic book leaflet or in bookshops.

Staff shared their 'Fantastic Book' with posters outside their rooms and some even wore a badge displaying it!
