Employment & Apprenticeships
Many of our students choose to enter employment or an apprenticeship at the end of their A Levels. We offer work experience as part of our enrichment programme and this often proves vital in giving students the best chance of a successful application.
Former students have secured places on a range of apprenticeship or school-leaver schemes, including prestigious opportunities with Nestle, Grant Thornton and Civil Service Fast Track.
Applying for an apprenticeship or a job is a very different process from applying for university. Opportunities can appear early in Y13 or much later in the year, so students are encouraged to check vacancies regularly throughout the year so they don’t miss out. We also encourage students to attend events in school and out of school where they can talk to employers and ex-students about work and apprenticeships.
