We work closely with primary school Year 6 teachers, SENCOs and headteachers to ensure that students feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn from the very start of Year 7.

We hold several transition events throughout the school year which begin in October with the Open Evening.

During the Summer Term of Year 6, we offer a range of experiences for students including non-feeder school afternoons, SEN visits and the uniform evening, and two full days of transition.

These events include a programme of talks, tours, mentoring from student leaders and parental meetings.
