We were delighted to welcome the Secretary of State for Transport, Louise Haigh MP, to our second Business and Community Forum held on Friday 25th October.

Led by the school’s charitable arm, Meadowhead Together, the event focussed on strengthening existing partnerships with employers and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. Louise was joined as a speaker by Meadowhead Together trustee George from Gripple Limited, the Meadowhead Careers Leader Leighton Collins, Sixth Form student president Jimi Leech, and a range of student presenters (Henry, Aiden, Hugo, Lily-Rose, Gabby and Minnie).

The event finished with round-table discussions between teachers and employers about possible projects and curriculum topics linking with particular industries.
