SFSS Tennis Tournament
There were some fantastic shots and the quality of tennis was excellent! Well done to all the students who took part and special congratulations to Katie and Eleanor who won the girls Y7/8 competition!
We had a fantastic group of students representing Meadowhead School at the SFSS Tennis Competition this week, held at King Ecgbert's school. Congratulations to Katie and Eleanor in Y7 who won the girls competition overall, winning all their games in the Y7/8 competition.
Well done to Noah and George who reached the final of the boys competition but were unfortunately beaten by a strong Silverdale School pairing. Tom Bentley, Finn Stevens, Ben Gray and Isaac Marston-Giroux all performed really well in their Y7/8 competition.
In the Y9/10 competition, Harvey and Jack made it through to the overall winners final but unfortunately lost to a really strong pairing from Tapton School. There was also some great play from Matthew Tasker, Louis Naylor, Lewis Naylor and Archie Rollings. The quality of tennis on the day was amazing to watch with some really long and competitive rallies.
A massive congratulations from the Meadowhead HFWB Faculty to all students who took part in the competition. All did really well and executed some absolutely fantastic shots - a pleasure to watch!
