We’re proud to be supporting Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024!
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. In the school library, there is a display of books featuring neurodivergent characters - take a look at some below:
Miss Hall recently ran an intervention group for some of the children with Autism in Y7, with support from the Autism in Schools Project. They learnt a lot more about themselves and how autism affects different people, including about masking, sensory differences and anxiety. In their final project, they planned, wrote and created this comic to encourage autism awareness.
