History students in Y10 received a WW1 Battlefield Medicine workshop from 'Frontline Living History'.

This workshop was designed to support teaching and learning of the Edexcel ‘Medicine Through Time’ historic environment study: The British sector of the Western Front, 1914–18: injuries, treatment and the trenches.

The session was led by WWI expert David Allton, and students saw and got the opportunity to handle authentic artefacts and participate in role play activities.

Students really enjoyed this enrichment experience as it brought their study of WWI to life.
