Congratulations!
Congratulations Ruby (Y12) who has been awarded St John Ambulance, District Cadet of the Year 2024 for South and West Yorkshire.
In order to achieve this award Ruby had to be nominated by her Unit Leaders and then compete in a competition in Leeds against other nominated Cadets in categories such as debate, presentation, uniform and first aid scenarios.

As Cadet of the Year, Ruby will now represent her District at National events for example at the National Remembrance Day parade through London, have opportunities to provide First Aid at large events e.g. London Marathon, and attend local St John Ambulance events.
She will compete again in March at the National Cadet of the Year Competition, for Regional and National St John Ambulance Titles.
