The Big Meadowhead Summer Read
This summer, we are encouraging everyone to pick up a book and enjoy reading - we have two options:
The Summer Reading Challenge - for students in Y6-10
We are inviting our students and current Y6s, who will be joining us as Y7s in September, to read at least one book over the holidays and then create a response to it, so others can be inspired by their choice.
Some ideas to get everyone started are: a photo of you reading, a bookmark inspired by the story, a drawing of your favourite character or of a memorable scene.
Entries can be on paper and brought to Mrs Webb in the Library in September, or a digital copy emailed to LRC@Meadowhead.Sheffield.sch.uk
There will be R1s for all entries, plus a prize draw (remember to add your name and the form you will be in from September) .

The Meadowhead Summer Read
We are inviting our staff, older students (particularly those studying English at A Level), and governors to read Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson over the summer. We will meet and discuss it in September.
