Y13s visit Leeds Beckett University
On Tuesday 20th September, our Year 13 students enjoyed a trip to Leeds Beckett University - Hedingley Campus. Students were lucky enough to experience a tour of the campus and the extensive sport facilities and then had lunch in the student Cafe.
After lunch, students listened to talks about how to choose a course at university and writing a personal statement and heard from an ex Leeds Beckett student about student life and living away from home.
Leeds Beckett is a new, campus university with a practical, ‘hands on’ focus which made and interesting comparison to the trip to The University of Sheffield which took place in Year 12.
