All boys football this week- some great games and great results!

Sheffield Schools Cup vs Notre Dame:

Y7 football A thrilling match against a strong Notre Dame side. The boys came back from 5-2 down to draw 6-6... Unfortunately, they lost on penalties. A great attitude + commitment shown throughout.

League Match vs Silverdale:

Y7 Football A great game between 2 good sides, honours even in the end, final result was 3-3.

National Cup vs Highfields:

Y7 Football A good start to the Y7 boys football season beating Highfields school 6-1.

Year 8 Football- great game against Ecclesfield in the Sheffield Cup lost 4-2. MoM was Harry Hepworth

 

Year 8 Football- Great win 6-0 against King Ecgberts in the Sheffield league- MoM Jacob Rouamba

 

Y10 boys came out 1-0 winners in the national cup round 2. They were brilliant against a strong Wath side.

Y11 boys were unlucky to lose 1-0 on a very windy and blustery evening at Birley. The game was very close and somewhat ruined by the weather.

Y12 Scholarship won their first cup game of the season but needed to go to extra time to secure the win 4-2 A fantastic hat trick from Jack Ross helped secure a place in the next round of the cup

Y13 Scholarship won 2-1 in their fixture in the cup and they progress as well. A close game and feisty game but Meadowhead came out overall winners and played some fantastic football on a lovely autumn afternoon.
