The theme this year is ‘exploring reliability in the online world’. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the day sees thousands of people get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology.

The campaign focuses on how we can know what to trust online. It explores how influence, persuasion and manipulation can impact your decisions, opinions and what you share online.  It also aims to open up conversations with young people about how they explore information, looking at the strategies they can implement to spot and speak out against harmful and misleading content online.   #SaferInternetDay
