National Lockdown and Arrangements - January 2021 (Updated 05.01.20)
You will now be aware that the Prime Minister announced last night (4th January) that a new national lockdown will come into force from Wednesday 6th January. In light of this decision, the school now has to change its provision in line with new statutory expectations. During the lockdown schools will only remain open to the most vulnerable children and children of key workers. By limiting attendance in schools to these two groups only, we are best able to minimise all contacts outside of households which in turn will reduce the spread of infection. With this in mind, we ask all key workers to only send your child into school if you have no alternative childcare provision.
All students in school will access their remote learning from an ICT suite and will be supervised by school staff.
