Meadowhead to Madrid ....... a race between staff and students
The PE department have set a fitness challenge! We were due to take over 100 students to Madrid for a football trip this year - due to the coronavirus this has sadly not gone ahead, but instead we are having a race between staff and students to get there first!
The total distance from Sheffield to Madrid is 1,223 miles and you can walk, run or cycle - do your exercise and keep a record of your distance and then send it in via our Instagram page MeadowheadPE (as a direct message, with some evidence too).
So which group will cover the 1,223 miles first? Keep an eye out for updates and follow along on Instagram.
There are 3 things to remember!
- Be safe/social distance when out exercising
- ‘Times’ do not matter. We don’t mind how long it takes you it’s all about the distance we can reach.
- Don’t try and do all 1,223 miles yourself, it’s a very long way........ remember you are each part of a team - staff or student!
We launched on Friday and already have clocked up many miles between us!
